The Bottles in turned pine wood was first shown in 2005 at the exhibition "we are going underground"
The candlebottles are made out of Swedish pine and the original idea was to make a mix of
traditional Swedish handicraft and a standard thing used in many young homes.
The tradition to make a candlestick holder in turned wood is not only a Swedish tradition,
but it is quite common in the old days in Sweden.
The idea to make the candle holders as bottles comes from your first apartment when the leftover bottles after a party is used as candleholders.
The first three shapes are beer, wine and 1.5 l plastic bottle(PET).
In january 2011 a new bottle was introduced called sparkling.
